Taking a leap of faith on an unfamiliar path without all the answers ✨
A few days ago, I was pulling into work, listening to a podcast about walking with God, trusting the universe, and taking steps of faith, even when you don't know the outcome and you don't have all the answers.
As I pulled into the car park three animals ran across my path, stopping me immediately in my tracks and captivating my full attention as I blocked the car park entrance, as I watched a single squirrel and two magpies harmoniously play and eat together. When I finally parked my car, the magpies positioned themselves either side of my car, and the squirrel waited in the grass verge, until I found her and met her gaze for a few seconds.
As a Shamanic Healing Practitioner, I knew this was a message sent to me from God. On the 26th September I am holding my very first Shamanic Healing Journey event, at Hanham Hall. In this intimate and sacred circle, I will use the medicine of the drumbeat to journey us to The Lower World (The Squirrel's Grass). We will descend to meet your guide, perhaps a power animal, spirit ally and gather profound guidance for your path. The Middle World (The Realms of Action). We will step into the invisible fabric of our current reality to consciously manifest your intentions into physical form. Energetic Cord-Cutting (The Magpies' Gate). We will safely identify and cut the energetic cords to past experiences, old versions of yourself, or heavy relationships that are actively holding you back. Numerology, the number 8 and the power of 3. My Halo Circle is 8 people, and my animal encounter was 3 animals. In numerology and Shamanic geometry, 3 represents creation, manifestation, and the birthing of something new (Halo of the Moon). The number 8 is the infinity symbol turned upright, representing ultimate abundance, flow, and the balance between the spiritual and material worlds.
The Magpies standing on either side of my car, formed a physical and spiritual portal. In Shamanism, birds of the crow family act as sentinels between worlds. They are acting as my spiritual "promoters" and guardians. They are holding the energetic space for my event. The magpies are telling me that the boundary is set, and the energetic container for September 26th is already built. The Squirrel in the grass. The squirrel waiting for me to get out of my car and physically look for her. She did not run away, instead she made me seek her and then held my gaze. This tells me, Halo of the Moon Seekers are already nearby, waiting. I just need to keep faith and trust as I tend my fire and shine my light, and when ready my Seekers will come, warm themselves, and be enveloped into a Halo Circle of safety, nurturing, healing and held sanctuary.
