There is something beautifully gentle about the Strawberry Full Moon. Despite its name, it is not named for the colour of the Moon, but for the season of ripening. Traditionally, this Full Moon marked the time when wild strawberries were ready to be gathered, reminding us that nature moves in perfect timing. Nothing is rushed, and nothing blooms before it is ready.

As we bathe in her moonlight, that is most powerful the day before, the day of and the day after, I find myself reflecting on the seeds that we plant within our own lives.Ā

🐺 Our hopes

🐺 Our dreams

🐺 Our healing

Sometimes we become impatient, wondering why our path feels slow, why the answers have not yet arrived, or why we cannot yet see the fruits of our efforts. Yet Mother Nature teaches us differently. She reminds us that every seed spends time hidden beneath the earth before it ever reaches for the light.

The Strawberry Full Moon invites us to pause and acknowledge how far we have already come. To celebrate not only the harvests that can be seen, but also the quiet growth that is taking place beneath the surface.

As a Christian walking a Shamanic path, I find deep comfort in these sacred rhythms of creation. I believe the Creator speaks through nature, through the changing seasons, the turning of the moon, and the whisper of the wind through ancient trees. Every Full Moon offers us an opportunity to stop, breathe deeply, and reconnect with ourselves, with Spirit, and with the Earth beneath our feet.

This moon asks us to ripen our hearts with gratitude.

🐺 What have you nurtured over these past months?

🐺 What part of you has quietly grown, even if no one else can yet see it?

Perhaps your harvest is courage or perhaps it is forgiveness. Perhaps it is simply that you are still here, still choosing hope, still walking forward despite life's challenges.

For me, Halo of the Moon has been one of those seeds. What began as a tiny dream has slowly taken root through faith, trust, determination and the unwavering love of those closest to me. Like the Strawberry Moon, it reminds me that beautiful things cannot be forced. They unfold when the time is right.

If you are able, step outside for just a few moments, lift your eyes to the Moon, place your feet upon the Earth, take a slow breath and offer gratitude for where you have been, where you are now, and where your path is gently leading you.

May your heart continue to ripen with love, may you trust your own divine timing and may you always remember that even when nothing appears to be happening, wonderful things are quietly growing beneath the surface.

With love and gratitude,

Cathy - Halo of the Moon šŸŒ•šŸŗāœØ
